Operating Model

In early 2022, Patria implemented a new growth strategy and operating model to fully leverage the expertise of its personnel. The company is organized into four main divisions:

Finland Division: Focuses on Finnish accounts, particularly the Finnish Defence Forces, and comprises four business areas: Air Force, Army, Navy, and Joint & Security.

Global Division: Handles international accounts, segmented into market areas: Nordics, Europe, and World.

Recent Developments

F-35 Industrial Participation: In June 2023, Patria and Lockheed Martin signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) for direct work within Finland’s F-35 industrial participation program. This agreement includes the contractual framework for F-35 forward fuselage assemblies to be produced in Finland by Patria.

6×6 Armored Vehicle Program: In 2021, Finland and Latvia signed a frame agreement with Patria for the production phase management of the joint 6×6 armored vehicle system. Latvia committed to over 200 armored personnel carriers, with deliveries scheduled between 2021 and 2029.

European Defense Industrial Development Program: Patria was selected to lead a consortium developing future armored platforms and upgrading existing ground combat capabilities as part of the European Defence Industrial Development Programme (EDIDP) in 2021.
